The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities

Ofsted Registration: Assume full legal responsibility as the Registered Manager, ensuring absolute compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Team Excellence: Recruit, supervise, and inspire a stable care team, fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous professional development in Henley and the surrounding area.

Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Maintain the highest standards of safety and therapeutic care, ensuring every young person has a robust path to independence.

Strategic Liaison: Represent the service in multi-agency meetings with local authorities across both Berkshire and Oxfordshire, ensuring cohesive support for residents.
Candidate Requirements

Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.

Experience: Extensive experience in a leadership role within an EBD children's residential setting.

Regulatory Expertise: A proven history of successful Ofsted inspections and a deep understanding of the Quality Standards.

Professional Stature: Strong communication skills and the ability to act as an effective advocate for young people in a high-profile community setting.
