The Opportunity: 

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an elite Registered Manager to take the helm of a specialist EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) home in the historic riverside town of Henley-on-Thames. This is a premier opportunity to lead a high-standard service that focuses on therapeutic excellence and achieving the very best outcomes for young people.

As the Registered Manager, you will lead a sophisticated care team in a location that demands high standards of professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities

  • Ofsted Registration: Assume full legal responsibility as the Registered Manager, ensuring absolute compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

  • Team Excellence: Recruit, supervise, and inspire a stable care team, fostering a culture of high expectations and continuous professional development in Henley and the surrounding area.

  • Safeguarding & Wellbeing: Maintain the highest standards of safety and therapeutic care, ensuring every young person has a robust path to independence.

  • Strategic Liaison: Represent the service in multi-agency meetings with local authorities across both Berkshire and Oxfordshire, ensuring cohesive support for residents.


Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.

  • Experience: Extensive experience in a leadership role within an EBD children's residential setting.

  • Regulatory Expertise: A proven history of successful Ofsted inspections and a deep understanding of the Quality Standards.

  • Professional Stature: Strong communication skills and the ability to act as an effective advocate for young people in a high-profile community setting.
