Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Excellence: Act as the Registered Manager with Ofsted, ensuring the home consistently exceeds the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the home’s daily operations, including financial management, safeguarding, and health and safety.

Staff Mentorship: Drive a culture of excellence by supervising, training, and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-impact therapeutic care.

Multi-Agency Networking: Build strong, collaborative relationships with social work teams, health professionals, and educational providers across multiple local authorities.
Candidate Requirements

Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or nearing completion).

Experience: Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a children’s residential EBD setting.

Knowledge: Deep expertise in the Quality Standards and a history of successful interactions with regulatory bodies.
