Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Leadership: Assume full legal responsibility as the Registered Manager, ensuring absolute adherence to the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

  • Staff Empowerment: Lead a multidisciplinary care team, providing high-quality supervision and mentorship to foster a resilient and trauma-informed workforce.

  • Quality & Safeguarding: Maintain a "safety-first" culture, ensuring that safeguarding protocols are robust and that the home is always inspection-ready.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

  • Experience: Substantial experience at a Deputy or Registered Manager level within an EBD children’s home.

  • Regulatory Track Record: A history of managing or supporting a service to achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted results.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people, staff, and external stakeholders alike.
