Key Responsibilities

Ofsted Registration: Assume full legal and operational responsibility as the Registered Manager, ensuring absolute compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Team Development: Lead a multidisciplinary care team, focusing on high-quality training and retention strategies to ensure consistency of care for residents.

Therapeutic Oversight: Implement and monitor trauma-informed care plans, ensuring that every young person’s emotional needs are met within a safe and structured environment.

Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong working relationships with Oxfordshire County Council and surrounding local authorities to ensure effective placement management.
Candidate Requirements

Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (completed or nearing completion).

Experience: Proven success in a managerial role within a children's EBD setting, with a focus on operational efficiency.

Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Quality Standards and a history of achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted outcomes.
