Job Title: Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home
Location: Norwich, Norfolk, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + bonuses
Job Description:
An established and forward-thinking organisation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s residential home in Hellesdon, Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate professional to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD). As the Registered Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop towards a positive future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the children’s residential home in Hellesdon, Norwich.
- Provide strong, values-driven leadership to your staff team.
- Ensure the home complies with the Children’s Home Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Create a safe, caring, and inspiring environment for children.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager to drive continuous improvement and high standards.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, professionals, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Home (England) Regs 2015, and Quality Standards.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or current study towards it.
- Confident, approachable, and inspirational leadership skills.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
- UK driving licence and own vehicle are desirable.
