Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Therapeutic)

Salary: Up to £60,000 per year + up to £7,000 bonus (DOE)
Job Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a stunning 3-bed children’s home in a beautiful rural setting in Shrewsbury. This Registered Manager role offers the opportunity to join a growing therapeutic organisation focused on high-quality care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people. As the Registered Manager in Shrewsbury, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, therapeutic environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of the children’s home in Shrewsbury as the Registered Manager
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted regulations
- Manage, develop, and support a dedicated team to deliver therapeutic, child-centred outcomes
- Maintain strong regulatory practice, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
- Promote wellbeing, professional development, and a positive culture within the home
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support children’s progress and stability
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager (or a strong Deputy ready to step up) in a children’s home
- Thorough understanding of children’s homes regulations and Ofsted expectations
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Passion for therapeutic care and achieving positive outcomes
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
