Job Description:
Are you an experienced Registered Manager seeking to lead a high-quality Children’s Residential service in Windsor? Our client, a leading specialist provider, is looking for a visionary leader to oversee an EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home in Windsor. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within Berkshire, shaping a nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for young people. As a Registered Manager, you will have the autonomy to develop therapeutic practices and drive the service towards an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of an EBD children’s home in Windsor, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Maintain full "Registered Person" status, adhering to the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise a dedicated care team, fostering professional excellence in Windsor and Slough.
- Develop bespoke care plans that promote the emotional and social development of young people.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and social work teams across Berkshire.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma: Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or nearing completion).
- Proven managerial experience within an EBD or Children’s Residential setting.
- Deep understanding of Ofsted standards and inspection frameworks.
- Ability to lead a service effectively within Windsor and surrounding Berkshire towns.
