Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist Children’s Residential service focused on Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in the vibrant village of Chinnor. As the Registered Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a therapeutic, trauma-informed culture that promotes long-term positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Registered Manager with Ofsted, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and current Quality Standards.
- Recruit, supervise, and motivate a multidisciplinary care team, promoting professional resilience and trauma-informed practice.
- Lead the service through internal audits and external inspections, maintaining high safeguarding standards.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with local authorities and educational providers to support holistic resident care.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (completed or nearing completion).
- Proven experience in a managerial or senior supervisory role within an EBD children’s residential setting.
- In-depth understanding of the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) and positive regulatory outcomes.
- Resilient, empathetic leadership style capable of managing a village-based service with professionalism.
