Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the children’s residential service in Reading, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement to achieve an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
- Develop and maintain a positive team culture, promoting professional development and staff wellbeing.
- Implement therapeutic and innovative practices tailored to the needs of children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
- Ensure all safeguarding and regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to support positive outcomes.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or working towards it.
- Proven track record in a supervisory role within an EBD setting.
- Deep understanding of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care and achieving excellence.
