A leading specialist provider is seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager for a Children’s Residential service specialising in Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Winnersh. Key Responsibilities:
- Take full legal and operational responsibility as the Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Implement evidence-based care models tailored to young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
- Manage the home’s budget, resources, and staffing levels to maintain a safe, nurturing, and high-performing environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with local authority commissioners and social work teams in Wokingham and Reading.
- Lead the team to achieve or maintain ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings through continuous improvement and staff development.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Proven managerial success within a children’s residential EBD setting, with a focus on staff development.
- Thorough knowledge of the Quality Standards and a successful track record with Ofsted inspections.
- Resilient, empathetic leadership style capable of inspiring a team through complex challenges.
