Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a high-profile Children’s Residential service specialising in Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Ascot. This role offers the chance to oversee a prestigious service in one of Berkshire’s most desirable locations, with the goal of achieving an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating. The successful candidate will bring a sophisticated understanding of therapeutic care and operational management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional support to young people in a high-standard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the "Registered Person," ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing care team committed to clinical-led practice.
- Lead the service through rigorous Ofsted inspections, aiming for 'Outstanding' status.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, social workers, and families across Ascot and the wider Berkshire region.
- Influence the strategic direction of the home, including staff recruitment and implementation of therapeutic models.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Extensive experience as a Registered Manager within an EBD or complex needs setting.
- Proven track record of achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted outcomes and a thorough understanding of the Quality Standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent a high-profile service in Ascot.
