Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a high-quality Children’s Residential service specialising in Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Maidenhead. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to make a significant impact within a therapeutic environment, driving standards and achieving outstanding Ofsted ratings. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional care and fostering a positive, nurturing environment for young people in Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the "Registered Person," ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 in Maidenhead.
- Manage the daily operations of the service, maintaining high standards of safeguarding and therapeutic care.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of professional growth in Maidenhead and Windsor.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with local authorities and social work teams across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
- Lead the service towards achieving and maintaining an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in an EBD children’s home.
- Deep understanding of the Quality Standards and a successful track record with Ofsted inspections.
- Ability to lead effectively in Maidenhead or nearby areas such as Cookham and Marlow.
