Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a specialised Children’s Residential service in Twyford. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a therapeutic EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) home that prioritises a small-group, trauma-informed approach within a supportive village community. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, ensuring Ofsted compliance, and driving the service towards an 'Outstanding' rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the "Registered Person" for the Twyford service, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a therapeutic EBD home, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
- Recruit, supervise, and develop a high-performing care team, promoting professional excellence in Twyford and Woodley.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and social work teams across Berkshire and South Oxfordshire.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (completed or nearing completion).
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a Children’s Residential (EBD) setting.
- Deep understanding of the Quality Standards and a successful track record with Ofsted inspections.
- Genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
