Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential (EBD)

Salary: £60,000 – £75,500 per annum (DOE)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Registered Manager to lead a specialist Children’s Residential service focused on Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in the prestigious area of Beaconsfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated leader to oversee a bespoke, therapeutic environment that promotes stability, growth, and high standards of care. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to shape the service’s culture and ensure it operates in line with regulatory requirements, delivering exceptional outcomes for young people in a high-quality setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full legal responsibility as the Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing care team committed to clinical excellence and resilience.
- Lead the service through internal and external audits, maintaining "inspection readiness" for Ofsted inspections.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Buckinghamshire Council and other authorities to facilitate cohesive care planning.
- Influence the development of the home, including staff recruitment, care models, and service culture.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Extensive experience as a Registered Manager within an EBD setting, with a track record of achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings.
- Expert knowledge of the Quality Standards and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
- Resilient, articulate, and empathetic leadership qualities, capable of representing a high-profile service professionally.
