Job Description:
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a 7-bed residential home in Merthyr Tydfil. This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality care for individuals with complex needs, primarily Mental Health, with some cases involving mild Learning Disabilities and Brain Injuries. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting people to live fulfilling lifestyles within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Manager based in Merthyr Tydfil, your daily duties will include:
- Leading and managing the operational delivery of care within the residential service.
- Ensuring compliance with CIW legislation, regulations, and best practice standards.
- Supporting and developing staff to maintain high standards of care and service quality.
- Promoting independence, choice, and respect for all service users.
- Overseeing staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Managing budgets, resources, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered Manager, you will need:
- A Level 4 or 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Residential Care settings, ideally supporting individuals with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of CIW legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and positive values.
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to work independently.
