Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Home Manager to lead a 4-bed specialist residential home in Bridgend that supports adults with autism and complex needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by creating a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment where residents feel valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Home Manager at Bryntirion in Bridgend, your daily duties will include:
- Leading and inspiring a dedicated, values-driven team to deliver high-quality care
- Managing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing home environment
- Creating a culture of respect, dignity, and person-centred care
- Championing positive behaviour support (PBS) approaches and promoting independence
- Supporting and developing staff through coaching and mentoring
- Ensuring compliance with adult care regulations and maintaining high standards of care
- Building strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Home Manager, you will need:
- QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step into a Home Manager role
- Strong understanding of adult care regulations and supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
- A genuine passion for improving lives and making a difference
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check with barred list clearance
