Registered Manager (Children’s Residential Home) opportunity in Cullompton, Devon to lead a well-established home supporting young people to feel safe, valued, and able to thrive. Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Manager (Children’s Residential Home) based in Cullompton, your daily duties will include:
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a staff team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care in Cullompton.
- Ensuring the home remains safe, nurturing, and fully aligned with safeguarding procedures and regulatory standards.
- Managing operational performance, including staff supervision, training, rotas, and performance reviews.
- Building trusted relationships with young people—listening to their views, supporting individual plans, and promoting positive behaviour.
- Driving continuous improvement across practice, outcomes, and team development.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered Manager (Children’s Residential Home), you will need:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve).
- Proven experience in children’s residential care with demonstrable team leadership/management responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards within a residential setting.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges, with a genuine commitment to child welfare.
