Job Description:
Registered Manager (Children’s Residential Home) opportunity in Cullompton, Devon to lead a well-established home supporting young people to feel safe, valued, and able to thrive. This is a leadership role focused on high standards, safeguarding, and creating a positive, nurturing culture for both young people and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Manager (Children’s Residential Home) based in Cullompton, your daily duties will include:

Leading, coaching, and motivating a staff team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care in Cullompton.
Ensuring the home remains safe, nurturing, and fully aligned with safeguarding procedures and regulatory standards.
Managing operational performance, including staff supervision, training, rotas, and performance reviews.
Building trusted relationships with young people—listening to their views, supporting individual plans, and promoting positive behaviour.
Driving continuous improvement across practice, outcomes, and team development.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered Manager (Children’s Residential Home), you will need:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve).
Proven experience in children’s residential care with demonstrable team leadership/management responsibility.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards within a residential setting.
Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges, with a genuine commitment to child welfare.
