Job Description:
We are recruiting a Registered Manager (Children’s Residential EBD) to lead a specialist children’s home in Bramley, Hampshire. This is a key leadership role within a rural, low-arousal setting supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), focused on stability, community integration, and therapeutic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Manager (Children’s Residential EBD) based in Bramley, your daily duties will include:
- Taking full regulatory ownership, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and associated Quality Standards
- Recruiting, leading, supervising, and developing a resilient care team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Overseeing the delivery of individualised care plans and ensuring young people are actively involved in their therapeutic journey
- Working closely with partner agencies and local authorities (including Hampshire and West Berkshire) to maintain cohesive support and placement stability
- Preparing for, managing, and evidencing strong practice through Ofsted inspections and ongoing quality assurance
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered Manager (Children’s Residential EBD), you will need:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Proven management/senior supervisory experience within a children’s residential EBD setting
- Strong knowledge of Quality Standards and a successful track record of managing Ofsted inspections
- The resilience and professionalism to lead a rural service with empathy, consistency, and clear decision-making
