Job Description
Home Manager opportunity in Bridgend, Bridgend County Borough within a 4-bed specialist residential home supporting adults with autism and complex needs. This is a chance to lead a new service from the ground up, shaping a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment while developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Home Manager based in Bridgend, your daily duties will include:
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a care team to deliver consistently high-quality, person-centred support.
- Embedding best practice and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to promote positive outcomes and wellbeing.
- Ensuring the service meets relevant adult care regulations, compliance standards, and quality expectations.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Home Manager, you will need:
- QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- Proven leadership experience in a care setting (or Deputy Manager experience with clear progression readiness).
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check (regulated activity with adults).
