Registered Manager – Residential Services
Location: Carmarthen
Permanent Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £38,000 to £40,000
We’re recruiting an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a Residential service in Carmarthen. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, values-led provider and lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring safe, effective, high-quality care
- Manage and develop the team (recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision)
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Oversee rotas, staffing levels, records, reporting, and audits
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and up to date
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community
- Manage incidents/complaints and drive continuous improvement
- Support staff retention and service development
Requirements:
- Ideally QCF Level 5 (or Level 3 with strong management experience and willingness to work towards Level 5)
- Proven experience managing staff in a social care setting
- Strong understanding of best practice and compliance within care services
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Commitment to dignity, independence and rights of the people supported
