Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Manager | Children’s Residential (EBD) based in Windsor, your daily duties will include:
- Leading the operational management of a children’s residential service, ensuring a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment.
- Maintaining full "Registered Person" status in compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Recruiting, mentoring, and supervising a dedicated care team, fostering professional development in Windsor and surrounding areas.
- Developing bespoke care plans that promote the emotional and social development of young people.
- Building strong relationships with local authorities and social work teams across Berkshire to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Registered Manager | Children’s Residential (EBD), you will need:
- Level 5 Diploma: Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or nearing completion).
- Proven managerial experience within an EBD or children’s residential setting.
- Deep understanding of Ofsted standards, Quality Standards, and inspection frameworks.
- Ability to lead a service effectively within Windsor and the surrounding Berkshire towns.
