Job Description
Registered Manager opportunities are available for an experienced leader to oversee a specialist residential service in Merthyr Tydfil, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough. This is a key leadership role within a 7-bed setting supporting adults with complex needs, primarily mental health, with some mild learning disabilities and brain injuries. You’ll set the standard for safe, person-centred care while developing a stable, motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Manager based in Merthyr Tydfil, your daily duties will include:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring consistently high-quality, person-centred support
- Managing, coaching, and developing staff performance, culture, and capability across the service
- Maintaining compliance with CIW standards, internal policies, and best practice, driving continuous improvement
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Registered Manager, you will need:
- Level 4 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards) in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven leadership experience within a residential care setting (mental health experience beneficial)
- Enhanced DBS Check (and the ability to meet all required compliance/safer recruitment checks)
