Are you a PASSIONATE and DRIVEN Childrens Home Registered Manager looking for a new opportunity to open a BRAND NEW 2 bed home for children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties with progression to RI/Operationas Manager with the opening of the 2nd home?

My client has proven their ability to provide care services at the highest level of quality, and as a direct result were requested to take the leap ito childrens services by the local authority to support the growing need for childrens homes in the local area.

Delivering the highest levels of care and support to the young people aged between 7 and 18 through the provision of leadership, direction, and management of the residential children’s service, you will have the children and quality at the heart of your values, and the vision to inspire and support the young people to lead happy and successful lives.  

In return, the organisation offers you autonomy to run the home as you see fit, and most importantly a genuine understanding of the importance of work-life balance, flexibility and the general well-being of all employees along with the opportunity to move into the RI/Operations role within 12months.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience leading within a residential home for children & young people with learning disabilities and or challenging behaviours. 

**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full driver's licence and a car**

Role: Childrens Home Registered Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Hours: Full-Time 

Contract Type: Permanent

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)

  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent

  • Experience working within a Deputy or Childrens Home Registered Manager's position

  • Experience in a residential children's home environment

  • Full UK driving licence
