• Be a Guardian of Child Welfare: You will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of children through the effective management of comprehensive parenting assessments. Your expertise will directly contribute to positive outcomes for families.
• Inspire and Develop a Talented Team: You will lead, mentor, and support a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Your leadership will empower them to deliver outstanding services.
• Oversee Excellence in Operations: You will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day management of the assessment centre, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: You will work closely with social workers, local authorities, and other partner agencies to provide comprehensive and insightful assessments.

We are looking for a candidate who brings:

• Substantial Experience: You will be an experienced manager within a social care setting, ideally with direct experience in child protection or parenting assessment.
• Relevant Qualifications: You will hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, BA/MA in Social Work) and be registered with Social Work England.
• Strong Leadership Skills: You will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• In-depth Knowledge: You will have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in child protection and family support.
• A Genuine Passion: Your commitment to child protection and a desire to achieve positive outcomes for children and families will be evident in your professional approach.
