The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be instrumental in the launch of this new two-bed home for young people with learning disabilities (LD). Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the home’s CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) registration process.

Recruiting and developing a new, dedicated team.

Ensuring the home operates in full compliance with regulations and maintains the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

Leading with a child-centred, therapeutic approach to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Future potential to dual-manage a second home, with a salary increase upon registration.
We are seeking to appoint the right candidate as soon as possible, with the opportunity to start before the home opens to help shape the service from day one.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Support Worker in a children’s residential setting.

A proven track record with CIW or Ofsted inspections.

Direct experience supporting young people with both Learning Disabilities (LD) and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

A genuine passion for developing staff and services.

Strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of safeguarding.
