Job Summary
A successful children's care provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager for a 4-bed residential home in London. The home is Ofsted-rated "Good" and provides a positive and nurturing environment for young people aged 11-17 with challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the children's home.

Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.

Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, implementing and embedding robust safeguarding procedures.

Develop and oversee individualised care plans that prioritise the well-being and growth of each child.

Lead staff recruitment, training, and professional development.

Manage the home's budget and resources effectively.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies and professionals.

Be responsible for the staff rota, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
Required Experience & Qualifications

Management Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of proven managerial experience in a residential children's home.

Ofsted Experience: Direct experience with Ofsted inspections and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is also required.

Driving: Full UK driving licence with business insurance.
