Our client, a leading provider of autism support and residential care, is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a specialist service in Bideford. About the Role:
As a Registered Manager, you will oversee all aspects of a residential service supporting 12 adults with autism and complex needs in a bespoke environment. Your leadership will ensure outstanding care, staff development, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the service to deliver exceptional person-centred care
- Ensure individual outcomes are achieved for people supported
- Maintain high standards of quality and continuous improvement
- Fully comply with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Assess and meet individual needs through tailored programmes and behaviour support
- Manage budgets effectively to ensure service sustainability
- Supervise and develop staff performance
- Liaise with external agencies, healthcare professionals, and families
- Promote positive, inclusive, and person-centred approaches
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing a care team
- Strong knowledge of care standards and legislation
- Excellent business and financial management skills
- Accurate report-writing abilities
- QCF Level 5 or equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving license
- Compassionate, proactive, and flexible approach
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
