A leading organisation in mental health support is recruiting a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a brand-new 4-bed adult service in the Bridgend area. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, shape service delivery, and promote high standards of person-centred care for adults aged 18-65.

Location: Bridgend
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care
  • Oversee operational aspects of the service, including staffing, compliance, and health & safety
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders
  • Promote dignity, respect, and empowerment in all aspects of care
  • Conduct regular resident reviews and develop care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Keep updated with legislation, mental health care practices, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management
  • Proven managerial experience within mental health care or adult health services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act and CIW standards
  • Compassionate, person-centred approach to care
  • Proficiency in care management systems and Microsoft Office
