Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Children’s Home Manager to take on a Registered Manager role at a brand new residential home for children with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (EBD).

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a new service, with significant support provided to help you grow into the position. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, delivering the highest levels of care and support to the young people.

Total Package: Up to £76,500 per year!

  • Base Salary: Up to £55,000

  • Welcome Bonus: £5,000 (paid upon completion of your first 12 months)

  • Annual Bonus: Up to £11,500

  • Commitment Bonus: £5,000

 

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will provide leadership, direction, and management for the residential service. Your values must be centered on the well-being of the children and the quality of care provided. You will have the vision to inspire and support young people to lead happy and successful lives.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Deputy or Registered Manager position within a residential children's home.

  • Qualifications:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services), or currently working towards it.

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential Services or an equivalent qualification.

  • Driving: A full UK driving licence is required.
