Job Description:
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a regulated service for autistic adults in Neath. This pivotal role involves leading daily operations, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a key part in fostering a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and continuous improvement within the service.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Manager based in Neath, your daily duties will include:

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring it is safe, compliant, and person-centred.
  • Managing the service budget, ensuring financial sustainability through effective resource planning and cost control.
  • Overseeing staff performance, providing supervision, coaching, and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks, including safeguarding and quality standards.
  • Monitoring service quality through audits, feedback, and incident data, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Building strong partnerships with families, commissioners, and external professionals to promote co-production and inclusive practices.
  • Utilising digital tools and care management systems to ensure accurate record-keeping and data-driven decision-making.
  • Supporting organisational digital transformation initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Registered Manager, you will need:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
  • Previous experience managing services for autistic adults, individuals with learning disabilities, or complex needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards, safeguarding, and autism-specific frameworks (e.g., SPELL, PBS, TEACCH).
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and digital skills, with experience coaching and motivating staff.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a car (if required for multi-site services).
  • Eligible to register with CQC/CIW as a Registered Manager.
