Registered Manager - Brand New EBD Home (Haverhill)
Are you an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager ready to launch an outstanding new children's home? We're seeking a passionate leader to open and manage a brand-new, 4-bed EBD children's home in Haverhill (CB9). This is a fantastic opportunity to build a service from the ground up and make a real impact on the lives of young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

New Service Launch: Lead the registration and setup of the new 4-bed EBD children's home with Ofsted.

Operational Excellence: Manage all day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic, and child-centered care.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a brand-new team, fostering a supportive and high-performing culture.

Compliance & Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements.

Strategic Vision: Drive the service to achieve an Outstanding Ofsted rating, building on your expertise and vision.
Salary & Benefits

Base Salary: £53,000 per annum

Total Potential Earnings: Up to £60,800 with bonuses

Ofsted Bonus: A significant bonus of £1,500 for a 'Good' report and £3,000 for an 'Outstanding' report.

Occupancy Bonus: A guaranteed £400 per month once the home reaches full occupancy.

Car Allowance: A generous £3,000 per annum.

Annual Leave: 32 days, including Bank Holidays, which increases annually for the first 3 years.

On-Call: On-call duties are included in the salary and are rarely required, as they're shared with the Deputy Manager.
What We're Looking For

Management Experience: Proven experience as a Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting.

Ofsted Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes.

EBD Specialism: Proven experience in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

Qualifications: You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
