Salary: Up to £64,280 per annum (including Ofsted and Occupancy bonuses)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Children’s Home Registered Manager to oversee our brand new 4-bed children’s home in Doncaster. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a supportive environment, ensuring high-quality care for young people and fostering their emotional resilience and development.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Children’s Home Registered Manager based in Doncaster, your daily duties will include:

• Leading the delivery of high-quality care in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies.
• Managing and developing a team of care workers, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and equal opportunities standards.
• Overseeing all admissions, discharges, and maintaining accurate records for young people and staff.
• Contributing to organisational development by implementing innovative childcare approaches and participating in senior management meetings.
• Managing the service budget, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring the home’s physical environment meets required standards.
• Building positive relationships with external agencies, professionals, and the local community to promote the organisation’s reputation.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Children’s Home Registered Manager, you will need:

• A relevant Diploma Level 5 or equivalent qualification, or be willing to work towards it.
• Proven experience managing a children’s residential care setting.
• Extensive knowledge of child protection, safeguarding procedures, and working with vulnerable young people.
• A current UK driving licence and access to appropriate transport.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to participate in on-call duties, including sleep-in shifts.
