Are you an experienced leader in residential childcare seeking a role where your high standards can truly make a difference? Our client, a leading specialist provider, is looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a 'Good' rated Ofsted home in Wiltshire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a nurturing environment that aims for ‘Outstanding’ excellence. As the Registered Manager, you will be at the heart of a home that transforms children's lives through exceptional care and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and supervise a residential support team to deliver child-centred care that sets new standards.
- Develop and review bespoke care plans, ensuring each child's holistic wellbeing is prioritised.
- Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resources efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain high standards of safety and welfare through regular audits and feedback, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015).
- Build strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to support children’s needs.
Requirements:
- Proven management and supervisory experience within a residential children’s home.
- Deep understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding procedures, and Children’s Homes Regulations (2015).
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to motivate teams and manage complex budgets.
- Ideally, hold (or be working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
- Resilient, compassionate, and able to balance a 'thick skin' with a big heart.
