  • Safeguarding Champion: Ensure the highest safeguarding standards are upheld and incidents are managed swiftly and appropriately across both services.

  • Financial Management: Manage financial performance, reporting, and resources efficiently within the home budgets.

  • Culture Building: Foster a strong, positive culture of respect, inclusion, and achievement within both settings.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven Leadership: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership/management role within children’s residential care.

  • Expert Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Ofsted registration processes, children’s home regulations, and safeguarding legislation is essential.

  • Strategic Oversight: Experience managing multiple sites or having a broader operational remit is highly desirable.

  • Child-Centred Commitment: A deep commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for young people.

  • Personal Qualities: You are resilient, approachable, and possess the ability to quickly build trust with Service Managers, staff, and young people.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.

  • Performance Bonus: Attractive performance-related bonus scheme linked to regulatory outcomes and operational excellence.

Chris at Vetro has been incredible.

I applied for a role I'd never done before, and not only did he help with my application process, but once I was offered an interview, he spent time ensuring I was sufficiently prepared. He has also made an once-a-week update meeting available to check on my onboarding process. If you're looking for work and support, I'd highly recommend Vetro Recruitment.
