Registered Manager, Children's Residential Home
Salary: Up to £50,000 per year, with a 10% bonus based on performance

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a new 3-bed residential home for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in Handsworth, Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a current Deputy Manager ready to step up, or an experienced Registered Manager looking for a new challenge.
Your New Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for our young people. You will be instrumental in meeting and exceeding Ofsted standards and leading a brand-new team.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing all aspects of the home's operations.

Ensuring the home is fully compliant with all Ofsted regulations.

Leading, mentoring, and developing a small team of care professionals.

Creating and maintaining a supportive and positive culture for both staff and residents.

Holding Ofsted registration for the home.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, in-person role with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in children's residential services who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You must have:

Proven experience leading a team in a children's residential setting.

Experience as a Deputy Manager or previous experience as a Registered Manager.

A comprehensive understanding of Ofsted regulations and children's home standards.
