Are you an experienced care manager ready to lead a small domiciliary care service into its next exciting chapter? A leading specialist provider is seeking a dynamic and strategic Registered Care Manager to take full operational leadership of their Porthcawl branch. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full operational delivery of domiciliary care services, embedding person-centred and high-quality practices.
- Ensure compliance with CIW regulations, including care planning, risk management, and safeguarding protocols.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture and shared values.
- Oversee rota planning, staffing, financial management, and performance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain relationships with commissioners, CIW, and external stakeholders.
- Manage out-of-hours responsibilities as part of the leadership on-call rota.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
- Preferred: Level 4/5 QCF or willingness to achieve it.
- Experience in domiciliary care and understanding of CIW regulations.
- Confident leader with excellent IT, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Strong operational, compliance, and team management skills.
- Budgeting and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of Welsh legislation, safeguarding, DoLS/MCA.
- Confident communicator and proficient with digital care systems.
