Salary: £49,140 per annum (dependent on qualification)
Please note this is a fixed-term contract for 6/7 months to cover maternity leave, to start in March 2026
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a supportive service in the Denbigh area. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to oversee the delivery of high-quality mental health and support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring person-centred care, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of staff, including supervision, appraisals, and training needs assessments.
- Lead the daily operation of the service, ensuring high standards of person-centred care and risk management.
- Oversee care planning, monitoring, and review processes for adults with enduring mental health needs and physical health co-morbidities.
- Ensure compliance with RISCA regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor medication administration and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in an on-call system to support 24/7 service delivery.
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the premises.
- Lead staff meetings, training, and development activities to promote a positive team culture.
- Monitor staff performance, well-being, and professional development.
- Ensure operational policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Requirements:
- Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management & Leadership (or equivalent, such as Registered Manager Award).
- Proven experience in managing mental health or support services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of RISCA regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Flexibility to cover various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and waking hours.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
