Job Description:

Are you an experienced Children’s Home Registered Manager or a high-achieving Deputy Manager looking to make a significant impact in children’s social care? Our client, a leading specialist provider of children’s residential services, offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape a new EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home near Paignton, Devon. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for a visionary leader eager to influence the future of care and make a lasting difference.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a newly established residential children's service in Paignton, ensuring the highest standard of care and support for young people aged 7-18
Oversee the setup, launch, and operational management of the EBD therapeutic home
Shape the strategic direction of the home, including care strategies and team culture with full autonomy
Mentor and inspire staff, fostering exceptional outcomes and a positive environment for children
Drive continuous improvement and deliver holistic support tailored to individual children's needs
Influence the organisation’s future growth by setting best practices for new service developments
Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and standards in children’s social care

Candidate Requirements:

NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Services or equivalent
Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children’s residential environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams
Full UK driving license
Passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and committed to high standards of care
