We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a new Family Assessment Centre based in Stafford. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing organisation. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering the services Statement of Purpose and managing the team to achieve the same.
The home will provide accommodation for families of varying sizes and needs. As this is the first Family Assessment home, you will play a crucial role in building and developing the service from the ground up.
About the Role
- Manage a Residential Family Assessment Centre
- Lead and manage a team of residential family support workers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and achieve and maintain a high Ofsted rating.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and other statutory agencies.
- Coordinate and monitor casework and administrative functions of the home, and evaluate standards of performance.
- Develop and implement effective family-specific plans.
- Generate high-quality observation reports and attend court proceedings as required.
- Chair meetings, reviews and discussions as necessary.
- Joining a national organisation that specialises in support for children and families.
Salary and Contract:
- Competitive salary (£50,000 - £65,000) plus performance-related bonus.
- Investment in training and development.
- Full-time, permanent contract
- Monday - Friday
About You:
- Registered Social Work degree and registration with Social Work England.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing a family assessment.
- Qualified or willing to work towards Parent Assess standard.
