Salary: £31,807.69 per annum (Part-time, 32 hours/week)

Job Description:
Are you a dedicated and values-driven leader with experience in managing residential care services? We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Manager to oversee two small, person-centred residential services in Barry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, ensuring they achieve positive outcomes in a homely environment. The Registered Manager will lead the team, promote wellbeing, and maintain high standards of care across both services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of two residential services in Barry, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Lead, mentor, and support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Support individuals with promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive living experiences.
• Conduct assessments and respond to referrals to maintain service occupancy levels.
• Participate in an on-call system to ensure continuous support and leadership.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership or management role within social care.
• QCF Level 4 qualification, with progress towards or completed QCF Level 5.
• Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
• Proficiency in electronic systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with service users, families, and external professionals.
• Strong staff supervision and resource management skills.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing support plans.
• Full driving licence is essential.
