Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially aware Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in the London Borough of Redbridge. This is a critical leadership role for a candidate who can demonstrate the capacity to maintain high standards of care, lead a dedicated team, and ensure the home’s stability through effective referral generation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a successful service and the leadership skills necessary to drive a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rating.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Service Leadership: Provide overall management of the home, ensuring the capacity to lead, retain children in placement, and proactively generate referrals.

Compliance & Quality: Maintain high standards of care and a solid understanding of Ofsted regulations to ensure the home consistently meets or exceeds statutory requirements.

Communication: Act as the professional face of the home, communicating effectively with staff, local authorities, and external professionals.

Team Retention: Lead and motivate the staff team to ensure consistency of care and high levels of employee engagement.

Reporting: Maintain excellent written records and lead professional communication in all multi-agency forums.
Essential Requirements

Experience: Previous experience working as a Registered Manager in a 'Good' rated children’s home is essential.

Language Skills: Must possess excellent written and spoken English for professional reporting and communication.

Leadership: Demonstrated capacity to lead a residential team and a strong understanding of the business side of children's services (referrals and occupancy).

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
