Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Neurological Care
Location: Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, UK
Salary: £27 - £58 per hour (DOE)
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a purpose-built neurological home in Abergavenny. This role offers the chance to work within a low-secure mental health facility that provides high-quality assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for residents with neurological conditions. The position is ideal for experienced RMNs, RGN, or RNLDs seeking flexible working hours in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering medication and reviewing care plans for residents
- Implementing tailored care and treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver comprehensive care
- Monitoring and evaluating patient progress and adjusting care as needed
- Ensuring a safe, homely, and caring environment for all residents
Requirements:
- Valid NMC pin as an RMN, RGN, or RNLD
- Experience in mental health, neurological care, or learning disabilities
- Restraint training (preferred but not essential if already covered)
- Compassionate, responsible, and professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with colleagues and families
- Right to work in the UK
