Seeking Agency Support for a Critical Leadership Role
Verto Recruitment is currently partnering with a friendly and welcoming service in Denbigh to source a highly capable and committed Registered Nurse Manager. This is a pivotal opportunity offered on a fixed-term contract for 6–7 months to cover maternity leave, with a target start date of February 2026.
We are searching for a passionate, dynamic nurse leader who can inspire, motivate, and effectively lead the team, ensuring the continued delivery of a high-quality, person-centred service.
Role Overview:
- Position: Registered Nurse Manager
- Salary: £49,140 per annum
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract: Fixed-term (6–7 months)
- Start Date: February 2026
The service supports individuals with enduring mental health needs alongside physical health needs. The Registered Nurse Manager will be responsible for the daily operational management of the home, overseeing all clinical needs, staff management, compliance, care planning, medication management, and strict adherence to RISCA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will take charge of core operational and clinical functions, which include:
- Managing, supervising, conducting appraisals, and leading team meetings.
- Providing strong clinical direction and ensuring the maintenance of exceptional care standards.
- ???????Overseeing risk assessments, person-centred care plans, and accurate medication monitoring and record keeping.
- Ensuring all operational policies and procedures are followed, maintaining safety, quality, and full regulatory compliance.
- ???????Participating in the on-call rota and being flexible to cover shifts as service needs dictate.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this critical role, candidates must demonstrate the following:
- A current Nursing PIN: RMN, RNMH, or RNLD is preferred, though an RGN with demonstrably relevant mental health experience will also be considered.
- Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Leadership & Management or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication capabilities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively prioritise service needs.
- Comprehensive awareness of safeguarding procedures and vulnerable adult protocols.
