Our client, a small, dedicated specialist provider based in beautiful Devon, is seeking passionate Children’s Residential Support Workers to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a caring, nurturing environment for children aged (appropriate age range) in a 2-bed Ofsted-registered children’s home
- Support children with daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and engaging in normal home activities
- Plan and participate in outings, holidays, and leisure activities to promote their development and happiness
- Complete daily records and documentation, including care plans and progress reports
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in line with policies and safeguarding legislation
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for supporting children and young people’s futures
- High resilience, empathy, and a caring attitude
- Flexibility to work 24/7, including sleep-in shifts (full rota examples available on request)
- Good literacy and administrative skills for record-keeping and planning
- Full UK Driving Licence (automatic cars provided for shifts)
- Commitment to safeguarding, including undergoing an enhanced DBS check
