Salary: £33,936 - £36,000 per annum + joining bonus

Job Description:
Residential Childcare Worker opportunities are available with our client in Cullompton, supporting children and young people within a small, specialist residential setting. Based in Cullompton, you’ll join a close-knit team focused on creating a safe, homely environment where young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Residential Childcare Worker based in Cullompton, your daily duties will include:

Providing a nurturing, structured home environment within an Ofsted-registered children’s home
Supporting day-to-day routines such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and positive home-based activities
Planning and taking part in outings, holidays, and leisure activities to promote development and wellbeing
Completing daily records and documentation, including care plans and progress updates
Safeguarding and promoting welfare in line with policies and relevant safeguarding legislation

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Residential Childcare Worker, you will need:

A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
Resilience, empathy, and a calm, caring approach in challenging situations
Flexibility to work a 24/7 rota, including sleep-in shifts (typically 2 on / 3 off)
Strong literacy and administrative skills for accurate record-keeping
Full UK Driving Licence (automatic vehicles provided during shifts)
Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check
