Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Build trusting relationships to promote emotional and behavioural development.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, activities, and education support.
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
- Participate in shift patterns, including long days and sleep-ins, to provide continuous support.
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
- Promote a positive, caring environment that encourages growth and resilience.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Motivated, resilient, and adaptable to challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Previous experience in residential childcare or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
- A caring and compassionate attitude towards children and young people.
