Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusting, nurturing relationships that promote independence and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to support children and young people
- Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking and cleaning
- Accurately document information and maintain up-to-date records
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Promote and maintain a safe environment for children and young people
- Support children and young people to participate in various activities and experiences
Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within the required timeframe
- Demonstrate a genuine motivation to positively impact young people's lives
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children and young people
- Be flexible to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
- Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
