Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join their children’s residential care team in Bridgend. Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalised care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children to thrive
Support children with their daily routines, education, and emotional wellbeing
Promote independence and life skills development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies
Requirements:

Previous experience in a children’s residential setting or similar care environment is desirable
Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Relevant qualifications in health and social care are advantageous but not essential
