A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join their children’s residential care team in Bridgend. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children to thrive
  • Support children with their daily routines, education, and emotional wellbeing
  • Promote independence and life skills development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a children’s residential setting or similar care environment is desirable
  • Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are advantageous but not essential
