Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children to thrive
- Support children with their daily routines, education, and emotional wellbeing
- Promote independence and life skills development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a children’s residential setting or similar care environment is desirable
- Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care are advantageous but not essential
